During October and November, the Freemen of Hale Village have held several working parties, to clear an area of ground at the Freemens Copse. In October, the first working day took place to clear brambles and overgrown scrub, to make way for the planting of several hundred daffodils. The Annual Hale Village Freemen - and Guildswomens Parade and Church Service - took place Sunday morning - 22nd May, at St Mary's Church. Before the parade to St Mary's, a group photo was taken in the Childe Of Hale Car Park, showing the Guildswomen, Freemen and Lord Mayor etc.

At the Freemen of Hale's Annual Court And Dinner held at the Wellington Public House, on Thursday 28th January, 4 new Freemen were sworn in - by the Lord Mayor Of Hale - Paul Turton.
