Widnes Police reported around 5:00pm Sunday evening - via their twitter feed, that Carr Lane will be closed due to flooding.
"Carr Lane between Hale Village & Halebank will be closing as soon as practicable @HaltonBC due to flooding - Halegate Rd is still open -9489"
