After several years of campaigning,, a proposed weight restriction of 7.5 tonnes through Hale Village and main roads is now in the offing from Halton Borough Council.

The new extension at Hale Primary School is nearing completion. A 10 week completion period appears to be on track. New rooms include a class room, store rooms and toilets.

A new surface is being laid in front of the shops at Ivy Farm Court.  The paving slabs are being removed in the area where the tree's are - and replaced with a tarmac surface.

Work has started on the restoration of the main latch gates, at St Mary's Church, on Church Road.

The wooden frame - of the slated roof walk-through, where the gates are housed, is also being repaired.
