The new extension at Hale Primary School is nearing completion. A 10 week completion period appears to be on track. New rooms include a class room, store rooms and toilets.

A new surface is being laid in front of the shops at Ivy Farm Court.  The paving slabs are being removed in the area where the tree's are - and replaced with a tarmac surface.

Work has started on the restoration of the main latch gates, at St Mary's Church, on Church Road.

The wooden frame - of the slated roof walk-through, where the gates are housed, is also being repaired.
