On Sunday the 10th of May at the village hall, a V.E Afternoon Tea was held, to commemorate the 70th year of Victory in Europe.

On Friday the 8th May, at 2:45pm, a short V.E. Day Remembrance Service was held, at Hale War Memorial, which included prayers, Hyms and a 2 minutes silence at 3:00pm.
