Heritage Open Day

St Mary's Church was host to an Heritage Open Day, on Saturday 12th September. It included various displays of archived village heritage, from old photographs, to Hale Estate Maps from when the Hale Hall Estate was sold in 1937, along with a model of Hale Hall, models of village buildings and various memorabilia from Hale British Legion.
The Guildswomen of Hale, Hale British Legion, Hale Village Hall Art Class, Hale C of E School and the Freemen of Hale Village were present with their displays.
Tea and cake and refreshments were on hand along with afternoon tours of the Church Tower.
