Cottage Fire Church Road

Fire fighters have been tackling a roof fire in one of the historic thatched cottages on Church Road - Church End, on Thursday morning. It is understood the fire broke-out around 7:00am in the roof.
Firemen created a firebreak - to prevent the fire spreading, to the adjoining cottages in the row, along with the thatch covering, being taken off.
Church Road was closed off, for all of the day.
