Volunteers preparing for Hale Carnival on Friday afternoon - 10th June in Hale Park, defied the heavy rain to continue building and constructing marquees in preparation for Saturdays Hale Village Carnival.
With the main arena constructed - and laid out, several marquees where in the process of being built when a torrential downpour halted work for several minutes. But after a brief rest-bite and sheltering under a nearby tree, volunteers carried on, with the construction...
