A Weekend Of Remembrance

On a sunny morning in Hale Village at 11:00am - Friday 11th November, members of the Hale Branch of the Royal British Legion - and several villagers gathered at Hale War Memorial to mark and observe the laying of a wreath.
The short service and proceedings were conducted by Bill Sergeant - Chair of Hale RBL, which included a section of the poem by Robert Laurence Binyon, the lowering of the Standard, 2 minutes silence at 11:00am and the laying of a Wreath.
*Those near and far - are warmly invited to attend the main remembrance service this Sunday 13th November, from 10:45am, at the Village War Memorial!
