Hale Village Remembers The Fallen On Remembrance Sunday

Over 150 villagers and locals gathered at Hale War Memorial on Remembrance Sunday - 13th November, to pay their respects to those who have lost their lives in conflict.
The Remembrance Parade - lead by the Liverpool Clan Wallace Pipe Band, left Aran Close, around 10:40am and marched to the village War Memorial where the main remembrance service took place.
The service was conducted by the Reverend Janice Collier, and Parade Marshal - Keith Banks.
Attending the service and laying wreaths, included: the Lord Mayor of Hale Village - Freeman Paul Turton and HBC Deputy Leader Cllr Mike Wharton. Wreaths were also laid by the Hale Branch of the Royal British Legion - Eric Goldrein, The Emergency Services, Hale Parish Council, Halebank Parish Council and local village organisations.
After the service at the War Memorial, the parade marched to St Mary's Church to join in with the remainder of the Church service around 11:30am.
After the Church Service at St Mary's, the parade reformed and marched through the village to the Wellington Public House/Hotel for refreshments.
