Storm Doris

Storm Doris arrived in Hale Village - Thursday 23rd February with winds reported at Liverpool Airport of gusting up to 61 mph. The strong winds buffeted aircraft over the village, as they where on final approach to land at the airport.
Driving was difficult on the main roads and those villagers who wandered out, braved the elements. We had one incident of a tree being blown down in the park.
