Over 500 Runners Take To The Roads In The Hale 5 Mile Easter Run

Hundreds of runners took to the roads of Hale Village on Easter Sunday - 16th April, to take part in the annual Easter 5 Mile Road Race.
The race started and finished in Hale Park - with the Lord Mayor of Hale Village - Paul Turton starting the race and later on greeting the runners, as they crossed over the finish line.
Liverpool Harriers - Degene Gezimu was the first runner over the finish line with a time of 24:27.
The first female over the line, was Kirsty Longley of Liverpool Pembroke & Sefton H & AC, with a finish time of 29:38
After the race, Winner Trophy/Medal presentations took palce at Hale Youth Centre on the High Street, carried out by Race Director - Guy Roberts of Interval Races and the Lord Mayor Of Hale Village - Paul Turton.
Runners were also presented with a free gift of an Easter Egg, Race T-Shirt and Race Medal.
