Potential Risk Of Flooding Along The River Mersey

High Tide is expected at 23:57 at Hale Head.

A multi-agency tele-conference was held at 15:00 regarding the potential of flooding along the Mersey.

Highways have placed flood warning signs at known flood risk locations throughout the authority to be erected if required.

High Tide is expected at 23:57 at Hale Head at a predicted level of (7.29m).

The Met Office have issued a Yellow Weather Warning, for this evening and tomorrow for heavy rain which will clear through the evening with frequent heavy, blustery showers following.
The wind will strengthen to bring widespread gales.
