Clay Pigeon Shoot Event On The Freemen's Field

One of the first events to be held down on the ye olde Cricket Pitch, now named the "Freemen's Field", was a Clay Pigeon Shoot event by the Freemen of Hale, on Saturday 28th April.
Mersey Gun Club provided the Clay Pigeon Shooting apparatus and supervision.
A large marque was erected near the Pavilion for refreshments, so visitors could sit outside and observe the afternoons event, while enjoy live music and good company.
