Carr Lane Fly-Tipping
Carr Lane continues to be a hot spot for fly tipping. A villager had to navigate around several bin-bags dumped in the Lane, on the evening of Monday 21st September If you witness any fly tipping in or around the village, please report it to the relevant authorities.... Speed Enforcement
On Monday 14th September, Cheshire Police carried out speed enforcement on Halegate Road, and Halebank Rd.

Heritage Open Day
St Mary's Church was host to an Heritage Open Day, on Saturday 12th September. It included various displays of archived village heritage, from old photographs, to Hale Estate Maps from when the Hale Hall Estate was sold in 1937, along with a model of Hale Hall, models of village buildings and various memorabilia from Hale British Legion. Guildswomen Of Hale 20th Anniversary
The Guildswomen of Hale celebrated their 20th Anniversary. In 1995 Clr. Colin Naylor - the then Chairman of Hale Parish Council, inaugurated the award in recognition of the valued work done in the community by the ladies of the village. During the Guildswomens September AGM - and celebration buffet, Alison Jones Chair of Hale Parish Council, presented this years award - to new Guildswomen, Karen Wharton.
