
Police Appeal For Missing Halebank - Widnes Teenager
Police are appealing for help in tracing a teenager reported missing in Widnes. Connor Green was reported missing at 3.30pm on Saturday 30th July from the Halebank area of the town. Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for the 19-year-old and enquiries are ongoing in the local area in a bid to trace him. Special Hale Trip Treat For Elderly Halton Residents.
PCSO's, from Widnes Police took out a number of Halton residents to Hale Village, on Sunday, 31st July.
Around 12 elderly residents of Widnes were treated to a ride-out to the village, which included a visit to the Coffee Shop - at the Youth Centre. Among the residents, was Desmond, who celebrated his 93rd birthday on the very day of the visit - 31st July. Village Hall Now Demolished
Work at the village hall site continues at speed, with the old building now completely demolished, as of lunch time - Friday 29th July. Work remains to remove the foundations and clear the site to start building the new village hall. #halevillagehall

Flytipping Blights Carr Lane Once Again
Carr Lane is once again blighted by another act of flytipping. Around 20 or more bin bags containing what appears to be compost, have been dumped out of a moving van/vehicle along a stretch of the lane, from the Brook, up towards Burnt Mill Farm. Local residents - on social media, have been calling for action for several years, such as camera's to catch the culprits.

Floral Planters In Full Bloom At Ivy Farm Court Shops
All the rain and sunshine we've had - over the last couple of months, has brought the floral planters into full bloom, infront of the shops, on Town Lane. They were planted out at the start of the season - by villagers Ann and Steve Blundell, and funded by the Parish Council. The planters were originally sourced by HBC for the Friends of Hale Park, 7 to 8 years ago. New Youth Centre Garden
The new garden and seating area, at the Youth Centre, is almost complete.
The laying of new turf and paving has been finished along with new planters and seating currently being installed.

Preparations For A New Village Hall Are Now Underway
Work is now under way at the village hall preparing it for demolition.. Contractors have been on site during the start of July, preparing for the knock-down of the current building. The contents have now been removed along with the out-side paving - pathway being taken up. The site will be closed off completely to public access while the works are in progress. It is expected to take around 6 or 9 months to knock down the old building and rebuild a new village hall. Hale Paris

Operation Launched To Tackle Anti-Social Behaviour Driving On Rural Roads Across Cheshire
Cheshire Constabulary is taking part in a month long operation to tackle anti-social behaviour driving in rural areas following concerns raised from the community. Operation Drive Safe started Monday, 4 July, with officers from the Roads Policing Team and Local Policing Units visible across villages targeting speeding, no seatbelts, drink and drug driving and the use of hand held technology at the wheel.
