The Freemen of Hale Village are now the new tenants of the old historic - Cricket Pitch field. For over 120 years, this land, belonging to Hale Hall/Ireland Blackburns - and later Hale Estates, was the scene of many cricket matches, Hale Fetes and more recently – football.
