The Annual Hale Village Freemen - and Guildswomens Parade and Church Service - took place Sunday morning - 22nd May, at St Mary's Church. Before the parade to St Mary's, a group photo was taken in the Childe Of Hale Car Park, showing the Guildswomen, Freemen and Lord Mayor etc.

Frodsham Wind Farm Now Visible From Hale Village
After being granted planning permission by the Secretary of State on 19th October 2012 following a public inquiry,,, building work commenced on the Frodsham Wind Farm several months ago. As of the 15th May,, located on Frodsham marshes overlooking the River Mersey - there are now two of the 19 wind turbines now visible from the shoreline path, Withins Way and Church Road area's of Hale Village. Giant Eagle Owl Makes Home In Hale Village
For the past 3 to 4 days, a giant Eagle Owl has been spotted in the village, mainly in the Church Road area. It's understood the Owl, may have broke loose from it's home/owner, reports on social media suggest the Owl is ringed. Villager Peter Doyle said "it visited our back garden in Vicarage close at about 1600 hrs today - Friday. Neighbour said she also saw him yesterday - so that is Wed, Thu & Fri." #gianteagleowlhalevillage

Hale Primary School Extension Progressing
The new extension at Hale Primary School is nearing completion. A 10 week completion period appears to be on track. New rooms include a class room, store rooms and toilets. #haleprimaryschool

Resurfacing At Ivy Farm Court Shops
A new surface is being laid in front of the shops at Ivy Farm Court. The paving slabs are being removed in the area where the tree's are - and replaced with a tarmac surface.

Restoration Of St Mary's Church Latch Gates
Work has started on the restoration of the main latch gates, at St Mary's Church, on Church Road. The wooden frame - of the slated roof walk-through, where the gates are housed, is also being repaired.
