Widnes and Cheshire Police are bringing the Street Safe event to the village, on Saturday 3rd June, it will be located at the front of Ivy Farm Court Shops at the Chemist end of the car park. The event will run from 10:00am through to 3:00pm/15:00hrs. There will be a gazebo, Police vehicles and the "Think Car". The annual Freemen's Parade took part on Sunday morning of May 7th at 10:30am. The sun was shining as Freemen, Guilds Women, Brownies and Rainbows gathered at the Tech9 Garage on Hale Road to form the procession which was headed by a marching Band, the Lord Mayor of Hale - Freeman Paul Turton along with the Rose Queen Imogen Atkinson. The procession left Tech9 for Hale Church/St Mary's service - just shortly after 10:30am overseen by Cheshire Police/PCSO Steve Marnick. Arrivi
