Over 500 Runners Take Part In The Hale Village 5 Mile Easter Road Race
Upto 540 runners from all over the region took part in the Hale 5 Mile Road Race, on Easter Sunday – 1st April. It was a sunny Sunday morning as runners gathered in Hale Park prior to the start of the race. Refreshments were on hand, along with medical cover and stewards to ensure the race and it’s participants were looked after, before – during and after the event. Halton Borough Councils - Community Recycling Skip Scheme took place in the car park area of Hale Park, on Saturday 31st March... It provided an opportunity for villagers to dispose of any materials, such as wood, scrap metal,, hard plastics, electrical appliances and general household materials. Hale Village Easter Cross Walk of Witness Procession
On a sunny and beautiful Good Friday morning - 28th March - saw villagers attending the start of the Easter Services at St Mary's Church. The Good Friday Service at St Mary's Hale, commenced at 11:00am, which was followed by the Easter Walk of Witness with the carrying of the Cross to Hale War Memorial. The Church service finished just before 12 noon, those who attended - joined the gathering out side the Church - in the sunshine, to form the procession to the War Memorial. L
