The blessing of the village crib - located at the Post Office, will take place on Sunday the 4th December from 4:30pm/16:30hrs.
There will be procession from St Mary's Church to the crib prior to the blessing, those who are taking part in the procession will need to be at the Church before this, for a short service - in the Church.

The Freemen Of Hale Plant Over 500 Daffodil Bulbs At The Freemens Copse
During October and November, the Freemen of Hale Village have held several working parties, to clear an area of ground at the Freemens Copse. In October, the first working day took place to clear brambles and overgrown scrub, to make way for the planting of several hundred daffodils. Over 150 villagers and locals gathered at Hale War Memorial on Remembrance Sunday - 13th November, to pay their respects to those who have lost their lives in conflict. A Weekend Of Remembrance
On a sunny morning in Hale Village at 11:00am - Friday 11th November, members of the Hale Branch of the Royal British Legion - and several villagers gathered at Hale War Memorial to mark and observe the laying of a wreath. 7.5 Tonne Weight Restriction Now In Place For Hale Village.
After several years of campaining by Villagers with support from Hale Parish Council and HBC Hale Ward Councillor Mike Wharton, a 7.5 tonne weight restriction has now been introduced around the village, to prevent HGV traffic using the village as a 'short cut'. Signs are located at several strategic points providing vehicles with an opportunity to avoid and/or /exit the 7.5 tonne zone/area of Hale Village.
