Macmillan Fundraising Coffee Morning Raises over £500
The Village Coffee Shop held a Macmillan Fundraising morning, on Friday 30th September, at Hale Youth Centre.
There were plenty of cakes, tea and coffee on hand, along with a Raffle, Tombola and a small Nik-Naks for sale table.
Volunteers were kept busy all morning, from 10:30am to 12 noon, with villagers and visitors calling in. An amazing amount of just over £525 was raised, for Macmillan Cancer Support! Well done to all concerned and Hale Youth Centre for the venue. #hale
Residents Club Together And Plant A Tree In Church End Mews.
Many residents of Church End Mews have very kindly put some money in a pot in which to buy a Malus tree for the communal square in the close... A big thank you to everyone who contributed and hopefully we will start seeing a pink bloom in the Spring and fantastic bloom throughout the year.... (Care of Steve Walmsley) #ChurchEndMewsTree
