Hale Village, now has a new Hale Village Hall. Friday morning - 29th September the new village hall was signed over, from the Builder, to the Parish Council. There will be a meeting for the Village Hall Committee this Wednesday 23rd August - at 7:30pm, upstairs in the Childe Of Hale Pub. Members of the user-groups who have used the old hall in the past and will be using the new hall, are welcome to attend. The Rebuild has restarted. Final prepping of the village hall site has took place this week - from Tuesday 14th March, including commencement of the rebuild of the new hall. The Hale Village Hall site is now ready and re-prepped for work to recommence building the new village hall, next Monday - 13th of March. The building programme is expected to be complete, near the end of August - into September. We were kindly invited to a site visit - on Monday morning 7th March, where members of Hale Parish Council were briefed about the commencement of the building work and a run-through of the plans, by the Project Manager (Terry), Site Liaison Volunteer

Work on building the new village hall, is due to restart at the beginning of March this year - 2017. A Project Manager has been appointed to over see the restart of the project, which is expected to be finished in late 2017. Several site visits have took place during February - with the Project Surveyor to ascertain the current work that has been undertaken and materials available, and to take the project forward to completion. Hale Parish Council in 2016 - were awarded £500.

We understand that IntoSolutions, the company contracted to build the new Hale Village Hall, has gone into Liquidation - during the Christmas and New Year period of the festive holidays. While attending our property adjacent to the Hall site - at 8am, on Monday morning 9th January, we were approached by two businessmen who explained the situation - and required entry to the hall site.
