Hale Village Pancake Race/Walk - Sunday 11th February
It was flippin' cold, but everyone had a flippin' great time at the first Hale Village Pancake Race/Walk.
Everyone met at the Childe Pub at 2pm where Marie and her helpers got the pancakes ready.
Children set off in groups of 4 from the start line at the Childe of Hale Pub, to the finish line at St Mary's Church Lych Gate, where they were greeted by the Lord Mayor of Hale Village and Rev Janice Collier.
The course route was marshalled by several Freemen and Cheshire Police.
Refreshments were available in St Mary's Church, followed by a group photograph. Certificates were awarded along with free Pancakes.
