New Planters For The Curlender - Hale Park Estate
For the past 12 months, the volunteer group on the Hale Park Estate - Curlender, have been working hard in tidying up the green spaces.... Hale Village Pancake Race/Walk - Sunday 11th February
It was flippin' cold, but everyone had a flippin' great time at the first Hale Village Pancake Race/Walk. Everyone met at the Childe Pub at 2pm where Marie and her helpers got the pancakes ready. Children set off in groups of 4 from the start line at the Childe of Hale Pub, to the finish line at St Mary's Church Lych Gate, where they were greeted by the Lord Mayor of Hale Village and Rev Janice Collier. Potential Risk Of Flooding Along The River Mersey
Tuesday 2nd January High Tide is expected at 23:57 at Hale Head. A multi-agency tele-conference was held at 15:00 regarding the potential of flooding along the Mersey. Thatch Cottage Renovation On Church End Is Progressing Well
Work is progressing well in Church End, with the renovation of the ancient cottage which was destroyed by fire 2 years ago. Inner walls and rendering are being worked on along with the roof being prepared for thatching. #halevillage

Green Fingered Villagers Come Together To Improve Their Neighbourhood On The Curlender
A group of villagers have come together to form a small volunteer group, to help improve the visual appearance of the green spaces on the Curlender, or the correct name of "Hale Park Estate".
For the past 2 to 3 months with permission and help from HBC, volunteers have been working hard on numerous tasks, including edging the grass over hanging the curbing, planting new shrubs, improving the appearance of some of the garages and sowing grass seed.
